Sugarloaf by NightThis is a 360 degree photomosaic of Sugarloaf Rock by Night. In the night sky, we see the Milky Way arch, the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds and the Zodiacal Lights. Consisting of 63 individual frames, it took 32 minutes to capture the entire photo with the final image rendering at over 400 megapixels. While each frame was down-sampled from 24MP to 16MP, this is still the largest image I've ever taken and was a huge challenge for my computer to stitch and process. The final rendering took over half an hour to export.
